StyleSolved is built to keep your wardrobe private. This page explains, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with your information.

What the app stores

Your garments, photos, outfits, wear history, care notes, wishlists, purchase details and any measurements you choose to enter. All of it is stored on your device. If you enable iCloud sync (a StyleSolved Plus feature), it is also stored in your own private iCloud database, under your Apple Account, where Apple's iCloud terms and encryption apply. We cannot read it. We have no server of our own that holds your wardrobe.

What we collect

Nothing. StyleSolved has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking software inside the app. We do not receive your photos, your closet or your spending.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no card details. Apple provides us only with anonymous transaction records needed to unlock StyleSolved Plus on your devices.

Add from Link and the in-app browser

When you paste a store link or open a product page in the app's built-in browser, your device connects directly to that store, exactly as Safari would. Nothing is sent to us. Product details are read from the page only when you tap Add this to StyleSolved. The store's own privacy policy applies to that visit.

Camera and photos

The app asks for camera or photo library access only when you choose to add a picture. Photos stay in your closet; they are not uploaded anywhere except your own iCloud if sync is on.

Sharing

Wishlists and outfit photos leave the app only when you share them yourself through the system Share Sheet. Private details such as prices paid, purchase history and measurements are never included unless you add them.

This website

stylesolved.com uses a self-hosted, cookie-free visitor counter (Umami) that records page views without identifying you. If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is stored by our publishing platform and used only to send it; unsubscribe any time.

Children

StyleSolved is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
