My Closet

  • Visual closet grid of garment photos, adaptive to iPhone, iPad and Mac
  • Search by name, brand, type, color, material, notes
  • Filter by category, status (Owned / Wanted / Sold / …), favorites, season, occasion
  • Sort newest, oldest, name
  • Garment detail with edit, favorite, lifecycle changes (Owned → Listed → Sold / Donated / Discarded); nothing is ever deleted from history
  • Add by Take Photo, Choose Photo, Manual Entry, Add from Link
  • Multiple seasons and occasions per garment (optional)
  • Optimized photos: thumbnail + display copy, originals not kept

Wishlists

  • Multiple named lists; new Wanted items join "My Wishlist" by default
  • "I Bought This" turns Wanted into Owned without a duplicate
  • Share a whole list or selected items via the Share Sheet, private fields excluded
  • Duplicate default lists created offline on two devices merge automatically after sync

Coming: Private web wishlists on stylesolved.app with revocable links and gift reservation.

  • Paste a product URL; reads JSON-LD / Open Graph data; always shows an editable Import Preview
  • Original URL kept exactly (affiliate tags untouched); Amazon ASIN captured
  • Plus in-app browser import with an explicit "Add this to StyleSolved" button (for stores that block plain fetches: Amazon, Belk)

Structured care (Phase 4, Plus) ✅

  • Structured wash method / temperature / cycle, dry method / heat, iron heat / steam, dry-clean and bleach rules, special instructions and care-label photo
  • Unresolved special-care pieces become Needs Review after wear, including dismissed sheets; closet badge and one-tap resolution in detail
  • After-Worn-Today care choices: Ready to Wear Again, Laundry, Hand Wash, Dry Cleaning, Air Dry, Repair
  • Prominent Dry Clean Only warnings; washing actions greyed by default, deliberate confirmed hand-wash override recorded and shown in care history
  • Availability states and repair / alteration exclusion from new outfit selections and wear recording; saved references and history retained
  • Care events with date, optional Decimal cost / currency, provider, notes and completion; record removal archives softly

What Should I Wear? (Phase 5, Plus) ✅

  • Offline rules-based saved and generated outfit suggestions by occasion and season
  • Color compatibility, dressiness/warmth, ratings, outfit/garment favorites and Would Wear Again signals
  • Wear frequency/recency from active history; unavailable, non-Owned and repair/alteration garments excluded
  • Do Not Suggest Again suppresses the saved composition and identical generated combinations
  • Seasonal layers, shoes, bags and accessories where eligible, explained and removable before saving
  • Plain-English explanations, useful empty state and Save / Worn Today flow; never labeled AI

Money (Phase 6) ✅

  • Optional Decimal MSRP, listed price, price paid, discount, tax, shipping and total; currency, purchase date, retailer, source, new/secondhand and private receipt photo
  • Plus spending in Settings by month / year / category / brand / retailer; current month/year and all-time scope, currencies kept separate
  • Cost per recorded wear using acquisition cost and active wear history
  • Calendar-day return-window countdown on garment detail
  • Returns/refunds recorded as separate dated Decimal credits; optional Returned status, partial/multiple credits, soft removal and gross/credits/net spending by period/group/currency

Coming: Resale proceeds and lifetime cost per wear including care costs; estimated resale value ranges.

Sync and privacy

  • SwiftData local wardrobe for Free; private CloudKit cross-device sync with Plus; offline-first; no StyleSolved account
  • No third-party SDKs, no analytics, no tracking
  • Settings sync status from CloudKit account and transfer events: Synced / Syncing / Waiting / iCloud Unavailable, with last observed transfer and refresh
